About CALA

WHO WE ARE

At the C. Alexander Learning Academy we understand that children are only young once, and we have dedicated ourselves to making childhood the most enriching experience possible. C. Alexander Learning Academy’s educational programs and nurturing staff will stimulate your child’s social, emotional, mental, and physical development on a daily basis.

The Early Childhood Division of C. Alexander Learning Academy was launched January 11, 2019 by the owners of the academy, Andre Ham and Ebony Ormond-Ham. Mrs. Ormond-Ham’ 8 years of experience in the field of education and 5 years in the field of mental health has led to C. Alexander Learning Academy and will contribute greatly to the future success of this prestigious program. Clayton County is home to C. Alexander Learning Academy’s Infant, Toddler, Pre-K, Georgia Pre-K and Private Pre-Kindergarten programs, which provides the foundation that supports the academy’s mission of “Providing Innovative Education for the Creative Mind”.

C. Alexander Learning Academy, LLC is a child learning institution that is registered as limited liability corporation. Reinforcing and building on the concepts taught within the Early Childhood Division, the learning academy provides the next step in education and provides a structured program of enriched academics that are enhanced by a creative learning environment. The academy was founded by Ebony Ormond-Ham and Andre ham to offer advanced academics to students that would benefit from a streamlined approach to academic achievement. Students are led through advanced curriculum work under the guidance of teachers who are degreed and licensed in the field of education or their specialized area of work. Teachers must be certified or working towards certification for completion within one year of employment. Parents are a vital part of the success of the learning academy and volunteerism is required.

C. Alexander Learning Academy strives to provide a high-quality environment and experience for the children and families served by our program. Our overall purpose is to help children and families reach their highest potential possible.
